Before it was named Brownville, our community was named Red Valley (RV).  This is the basketball team (circa 1919) in uniform, complete with matching beanies (eat your hearts out NBA).  The gentleman in the suit is John Vernon, superintendent at the time.  The only team members we can identify are: second from right, Milton Waldon; third from right, Scott Freeman.
