The "old" commissary. The main railway line is about ten feet from the porch
steps. The house next door is where Bill Ellis, Sr. lived, it was later moved directly
across the street (house #81 or house #84 on 1938 map). (I don't know for sure, but I
think this is the store that was located on the pole yard. It was shown on the map of
Brownville houses of 1938)(Again, how about the autos? I wonder if the one guy is trying
to get a date with the pretty young lady or maybe it is his daughter? They sat around on
the porch like we did in the late 50's and early 60's. Not much else to do, I guess).
