The picture showing Lushen Kendrick standing on the front shows the smokestack has rusted out and fallen off.  Also, weeds are growing up all around the engine.

One of two pictures that shows what pitiful shape old '97 is in now.   The group at French Lick is making no effort to maintain the engine and it is slowly rusting away.  I guess it shows that equipment shouldn't be given to any organization unless there is some legal responsibilities concerning the gift.  The only reason I can think of for putting these on the web site would be to discourage people from making a trip up there, and being disappointed.
